Teleportation would rock--free travel! But only if the fam could teleport with me.
I've also always wanted to be able to go invisible on command. I'd like to know what people--especially powerful people--do behind closed doors.
Isn't that like asking a mother of 4 to choose her favorite child?
I guess if I have to pick just one I'd choose creme brulee. But also in the top tier I'd have to place cannoli, chocolate eclairs, pecan pie (with coffee), and mint chocolate chip ice cream. I'm also quite partial to rice pudding and bread pudding.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
no
1. Barcelona.
2. Florida. I want to swim on the beach where Rob grew up, with it's white powdery sand and bright blue water. I want to visit my friend F and take him up on his offer to take us fishing on his boat. I want to take the boys to Disney World just to watch them squee. And I want to visit the Keys and see the Hemingway house.
3. Rent my friends' house on Cape Cod, where I have many happy childhood memories.
4. Paris, because I didn't get enough of it the first time around.
5. Somewhere in the Caribbean where I can do lots of snorkeling with Nick.
6. Hike the Grand Canyon.
7. Rent a cabin up north in the winter and take my desert-bound husky to play in the snow and also try snowboarding (me, not the dog).
I could go on forever but these are the ones I think about most.
I miss a lot about being a kid, but at this time of year I really miss having a whole summer off--three months!--to basically do nothing but read, swim, read, roam around in the woods, read, hang out with friends, and read. It's so hard for me to drag myself to work every day right now when I'd really rather pack up the kid and spend every day alternating between the pool and the library. Liberally peppered with trips to local ice cream parlors.
You gotta love badly-worded questions. Of course I believe in monogamy--I've seen lots of people do it. My own parents have been monogamous for almost 50 years now.
Do I believe that monogamy is the best relationship style for everyone? No, I definitely don't. It's fabulous for some people, and Hell on Earth for others.
No-holds-barred, mixed martial arts. In fact, it *was* my extreme sport of choice for a few years. But once I hit 35 I couldn't heal from the injuries as fast as I used to, and I never had the time to train seriously enough to become really good. So I guess it would be, "If I was younger and had more time to train, it would be my sport of choice."
